UNUSUAL AND RARE SHAPED SATSUMA VASE, 19TH CENTURY decorated with a multitude of figures including deities such as Jurojin on crane and Benzaiten, officials, warriors, and beauties, the upper brocade with clear Satsuma mon, the bottom brocade with wave pattern, the underside signed and dated, 'Satsuma Yaki Tengoku, Asayama Ga, Tempo 3 [1832]', approx. h: 16 in.
