WEDGWOOD BROWN STONEWARE ENAMEL-DECORATED CHINOISERIE GINGER JAR AND COVER circa 1880, impressed uppercase mark, recorded as shape no. 1204, the domed cover with parcel-gilt gaping mask Buddhistic lion finial, enameled overall in the Chinese taste with gilt enriched enameled blue peony blossoms and foliage, h: 9 1/2 in.
