WEDGWOOD CREAMWARE 'CHINTZ PATTERN' COFFEE POT AND COVER AND AN ENGLISH CREAMWARE' CHINTZ PATTERN' TEA CADDY circa 1770-75, Staffordshire, both probably painted in the workshop of David Rhodes, the coffee pot of pear shape, the domed cover with a hollow ball finial, the fluted spout with leafy terminals and reeded strap handle, enameled with detailed lozenges on a trellis pattern band, the central vertical ribbon seeded and flanked by ribbons, h: 10 in.; the octagonal tea caddy similarly enameled, the lozenges set on a cell pattern band, h: 5 in.
