WEDGWOOD LILAC, GREEN AND WHITE SOLID TRICOLOR JASPERWARE FIGURE OF SOMNUS late 18th Century, impressed uppercase mark (twice), after a model by Il Fiammingo (1597–1643), the mythic god of sleep, depicted in white sleeping on the folds of a sage-green blanket, beside a basket filled with green fruit, the lilac canted rectangular base with acanthus leaf border, l: 5 1/2 in.
