WEDGWOOD QUEENSWARE IVORY-GROUND TWO-HANDLED 'PEGASUS' VASE AND COVER impressed date code for 1876, impressed uppercase mark and gilt 27Z, of oviform, the banded conical cover, Pegasus finial, paired snake handles and Medusa mask terminals enriched and chased to simulate bronze, boldly painted front and back with a cascading yellow oncidium and cattleya orchids, the sides with butterflies in flight, on a domed circular foot, h: 19 in.
