circa 1850, impressed uppercase mark, of amphora form, the tall neck flanked by upright scroll handles entwined with serpents, the upper register applied in relief with a continuous frieze of the 'Marriage of Cupid and Psyche', above a checkered pattern with yellow centered quatrefoils and stiff leaf-tips, on a circular socle and square base, h: 15 1/2 in.
