ENGLISH CREAMWARE BLACK TRANSFER-PRINTED 'MOTTO' TEAPOT AND COVER
circa 1789-1790, probably Leeds, Yorkshire, globular, the fitted cover with flower finial, plain spout and entwined strap handle, inscribed, 'My Love is fix'd,
I cannot range; I like my choice too well to change' within a foliate surround, the obverse with a couple in a landscape, the cover with a floral spray, h: 5.25 in.
