ENGLISH CREAMWARE INSCRIBED AND DATED COFFEE-POT AND COVER dated 1778, probably Staffordshire, of pear shape with curved spout and entwined strap handle, the domed cover with a pierced mushroom finial, one side enameled with a pastoral view of a milkmaid and horned cow, the other side with a marital inscription in black ‘John & Isabel Harburn, 1778’, within a polychrome enameled foliate cartouche, h: 8 7/8 in.
