FOUR WELLER ART POTTERY 'DICKENSWARE' VESSELS / MAE TIMBERLAKE Zanesville, OH, circa 1915-1920, impressed uppercase Weller Dickensware mark to all four, W, incised + in a circle, model no. 580, to the ewer, of tapering cylindrical form with loop handle, incised and painted with a monk in bold outline, high gloss glazes in graduated shades of blue, h: 10.75 in.; the Dickensware flask, with impressed model 355 and 1, of flattened teardrop form, incised and painted with a monk slicing a loaf of bread, on a graduated yellow-green-brown ground; the two-handled bottle vase, impressed model X225, 12, and additional workmen's marks, of amphora form, incised and painted front and back with a cameo portrait set on a laurel band, graduated green-brown ground; and a mug, impressed model no. 327, decorator's initials MT at the side for Mae Timberlake, tapering cylindrical with strap handle, painted with blackberry briar, on a graduated cobalt-blue-green glaze ground, executed on a 'Dickensware' blank (4)
