TWO WELLER ART POTTERY 'FLORETTA' VASES, A WELLER 'FLORETTA' JUG AND AN AMERICAN ART POTTERY TALL CARAFE Zanesville, OH, circa 1904-1915, impressed FLORETTA medallion marks to the first three enclosing model nos. 2, 9 and 27 respectively, including an ovoid sack vase molded with a gather of strawberries, h: 11.75 in.; an oviform sack vase molded with three pendant pears; and an oviform jug molded with pendant grapes; the fourth an unmarked knopped tapering cylindrical carafe with bracket handle, attributed to Peters and Reed, circa 1900, molded with a fruiting cherry branch, splashed in ochre and green, on a russet-brown glazed ground (4)

Literature: See the Richard and Rita Chouinard Collection, Heritage Auctions, Dallas, Texas, lot 28164 for a vase molded with an identical cherry branch and attributed to Peters and Reed, a forerunner of Weller Pottery.
