Hanley, probably designed by Jean Voyez, of shield shape, flecked in shades of blue and black to simulate stone, flanked by parcel-gilt female mask pilaster handles, suspending a rich floral garland, draping a central three quatre profile portrait medallion allegorical of pathos, above a beaded horizontal husk band and acanthus leaves radiating from the base, on a short gadrooned conforming socle and black basalt square base
