Regarding a trip to Philadelphia and meeting General George Washington and Rochambeau
A four page autographed letter signed from Lillia to her father, telling him of her trip to Philadelphia where she met Count Rochambeau and enjoyed speaking to him in French, she also writes of meeting General George Washington "his Excellency" in Philadelphia at Mr. Robert Morris's home and having breakfast with General George Washington, along with letting her father know that she needs to be well dressed for all the social events she attends with French and American military officers and "the genteelist ladies" and would appreciate more money for clothes.
