Pan Yuliang, Chang Daqian and Wang Jiyuan were close friends and colleagues they exhibited together, taught each other and visited each other. This group of letters was written in 1971 over a period of six months. One creased paper written in pen front and back with envelope; Sent from Paris, France, April 19, 1971; "To my teacher and Mrs. Jiyuan, Haven't written a letter to you for a while; forgive me...Have you had any exhibitions lately? You must have a lot of new works..How about coming to France like many tourists, and if you do please bring your artworks to have a grand exhibition in Paris. I've been taking Chinese medicine since spring and rest well at home. I feel better every day..but didn't get to paint for a long time..This month I will have another exhibition, but will not open until May...Your student, Pan Chang Yuliang, 4-18."
