SOVIET PROPAGANDA PORCELAIN FIGURE OF A SEAMSTRESS EMBROIDERING A RED SOVIET BANNER Russia, mid-to-late 20th Century, black painted hammer, sickle and cog mark, after a model by Natalya Danko of 1920, painted in black with her name and the spurious date 1921, modeled as a seated worker sewing gilt letters on a red banner, which in Cyrillic reads 'Long Live Soviet Rule', wearing a blue shawl, floral blouse and striped skirt, on a rocky mound base, h. 5.25 in.
