THREE FRENCH ITEMS the first, a Samson covered bowl and dish, decorated in a chinoiserie style with yellow 'cracked ice' ground punctuated by prunus blossoms within a green-patterned band, with iron red Samson mark and 'France' in green under base, the rims of bowl and dish with silver metal beaded trim, and cover with a fruit finial, dia: (of bowl) 3.75 in.; faience dish of square shape with a central design of a couple by water's edge by a bridge and a castle beyond, red RX dotted mark (unread), with scattered flowerheads within the yellow and puce fluted edge, w: 7.5 in.; and together with a Chantilly soft paste underglaze blue and white circular dish, late 18th Century, silver mounts, London, pseudo-hallmarks under rim, with a 'weeping' plant by a rock, underglaze blue horn mark under foot, delicate mounts to each side with scrolling foliage and surmounted by a cherub's head, w: (over handles) 7.75 in.
