WEDGWOOD AESTHETIC MOVEMENT ‘CHELSEA SPRIGS’ PATTERN KETTLE AND COVER, TWO-HANDLED PEMBROKE EWER AND TWO PLATES 1870-1880, impressed uppercase marks, date codes AKI and black pattern no. 7964 to the plates, C275 to the kettle, each printed in puce and enriched in the Japonisme taste with hummingbirds, butterflies and insects, perched and in flight among flowers, leaves and grasses, the kettle with ribbon-tied bail handle, h: 7 in.; the double-lipped ewer with upright handles and satyr mask terminals, h: 8 1/8 in.; and the plates, dia: 9 7/8 in.
